Sizes & Prices:

There are four sizes of Content Banners:

*Prices do not include VAT. If you require a Commercial Invoice (VAT Invoice), the total cost will be subject to 8% VAT, borne by the advertiser.

Placement:

Content Banners are injected within the post content after the first few paragraphs in a hierarchy according to banner size: bigger banners are shown above smaller ones. In longer posts, banners are repeated throughout the length of the post.

Banner placement is the same across all devices and screen sizes.

Banners are displayed in all posts within your choice of two of my website’s four main categories (subject to availability).

Choose which two categories are most relevant to your brand/business/product:

Banner Artwork & Design:

We can design the banner artwork for you free of charge or you can design your banner yourself:

Designed for you: If you want us to design your banner, you can provide your input and thoughts prior to design, then one feedback session after our first draft. Don’t worry: we want your banner to look as good as possible and we have years of experience designing banners. Please bear in mind that some banner placements have specific design requirements and limitations.

Designed by you: If you want to design your own banner, please make sure you follow the correct aspect ratio for your chosen banner. In addition, there will be certain other parameters to follow. Some banner placements have specific design requirements that I will inform you of if/when necessary. Your banner artwork must be approved by me before going live on my website.

Contracts & VAT Invoices:

All advertisers on Vietnam Coracle are required to read and agree to an Advertising Contract as follows:

Case A: If you are paying from a personal account or in cash and do not require a Commercial Invoice (VAT Invoice), then you are only required to read and agree to an Email Advertising Agreement [View sample Advertising Agreement]. This is an email contract in which both Parties agree to the terms and conditions of the advertising banner. Both Parties keep this email contract in their inbox as proof of agreement in case any issue should arise at a future date. Please note that the terms and conditions within the contract are non-negotiable and are the same for all advertisers; there are no exceptions.

Case B: If you are paying from a company account and require a Commercial Invoice (VAT Invoice)*, then if necessary I can also issue an accompanying bilingual (Vietnamese and English) Commercial Contract [View sample Commercial Contract]. The Commercial Invoice and Contract will be issued by my supporting company, VNC Travel Co., Ltd. I established this company as a way to offer clients the choice of a VAT Invoice and Commercial Contract if/when they require it. VNC Travel Co., Ltd is listed under the business fields: agents, brokers and goods auction, and management consultancy activities. Therefore, the Commercial Contract will be titled ‘Consulting Service Agreement’ in order to be in full legal compliance. However, if your company only requires a VAT Invoice and not a Commercial Contract, then you are only required to read and agree to an Email Advertising Agreement [View sample Advertising Agreement].

*Note: VAT is 8% and this will be borne by the advertiser in the case that a Commercial Invoice (VAT Invoice) is required.

Payment:

Full payment is made in advance as follows:

If we are designing your banner for you (see above), when you receive the first draft of your banner artwork and have agreed to my contract (see above), full payment will be made. After payment, we will design the final version of your banner and make it live on the website.

If you are designing your own banner artwork, full payment is made after agreeing to my contract (see above). After payment, we will make your banner live on the website.

Once the advertising contract has been agreed and payment made, there can be no refund under any circumstances. There are no exceptions to this.

Processing & Renewal:

When I receive payment and your banner design is complete, I will make your advertising banner live on my website and notify you immediately by email. Your banner’s time on my website will begin from the moment you receive this email.

A week before your banner expires, I will contact you about renewal. If no further payment is made by the time your banner expires, it will automatically be removed from my website.

Statistics & Analytics:

We do not offer performance statistics or analytics to advertisers. We guarantee exposure to our audience by the placement of your advertising banner on the website. Vietnam Coracle traffic is over one million page views per year and growing (see Traffic & Statistics). If you would like to track the performance of your advertising banner on my website, such as click-rate, you may do so by using a tracking ID in the target URL of your banner. However, this is entirely up to you, as we do not offer this service ourselves.
